Workshop Title:
"Mastering Emotional Intelligence: The Secret to Stronger Leadership, Relationships & Results"

✅ Workshop Goals:
Help participants understand what Emotional Intelligence is and why it’s vital.
Identify the 5 components of EQ.
Develop practical strategies to increase their self-awareness, regulation, and empathy.
Practice EQ through real-time interactive activities.
Show how EQ impacts leadership, communication, and performance.

📋 Workshop Breakdown:
🔹 1. Opening
Activity: Emotional Check-in

Use an “Emotions Wheel” or mood board.
Ask: “How are you feeling right now — really? Point to it. No explanation needed.”
Brief reflection: “Why do you think it’s important to name what we feel?”
Transition Statement:
“Today, we’re unlocking a game-changer that influences every decision, relationship, and result — even more than IQ.”

🔹 2. What is Emotional Intelligence?
Clear definition of EQ vs IQ
Brief story or real-life example: Someone who failed because of low EQ vs succeeded due to high EQ

Key Benefits:

Better leadership
Stronger relationships
Improved communication
Higher performance & wellbeing

🔹 3. The 5 Components of EQ (25 mins)
Use a simple, visual framework:

Self-Awareness
Self-Regulation
Motivation
Empathy/sympathy
Social Skills
Break it down with relatable, real-life examples.
Mini activity for each:
Ask participants to rate themselves 1–10 on each one silently.

🔹 4. Interactive Component: “EQ in Action” (20 mins)
Role-Playing Exercise:

Scenario Cards – participants pair up or join small groups. Each group pulls a situation that tests EQ (e.g., difficult team member, receiving harsh feedback, misunderstanding in communication).
Instructions: One person plays the “emotional responder” with low EQ. The other replays the same scenario using high EQ.

Group Debrief Questions:

How did the second response feel different?
What changed in the outcome?
What was difficult about staying emotionally intelligent?

🔹 5. Why EQ Matters in Life & Business (10 mins)
Share stats (e.g., 90% of top performers have high EQ)
Tie EQ into leadership, sales, relationships, entrepreneurship
Share your personal story or testimony of when EQ made the difference in your success

🔹 6. Action Plan: Building Your EQ (10 mins)
Introduce a simple daily habit system (e.g., “EQ Journal”)

Name 3 emotions you felt today
What triggered them?
How did you respond?
How can you improve tomorrow?
Group Challenge:
Commit to doing this practice daily for the next 7 days — accountability with a partner

🔹 7. Closing & Final Reflection (5 mins)
Prompt:
"What’s one area of EQ you’re committed to developing — and why?"
Let 2–3 volunteers share out loud.
